Urban Supervision Centre (CSU)
The video protection cameras are connected to the Urban Supervision Centre (CSU). Some sites are equipped with cameras that read number plates. An operator is regularly on duty during the day and sometimes at night, particularly at weekends, to ensure interoperability between the video and field teams.
Video protection has already been used to solve a number of cases, including damage to private property, attempted vehicle theft and a vehicle fire, which is currently under investigation.
Video tagging is used as soon as the signs are in place at the entrances to the town and the reminder signs have been installed, particularly around the schools, Bd de la République and Bd pasteur. The video protection operator uses the video protection cameras to issue fines.
These include traffic offences (failing to obey a STOP sign, crossing a white line, not wearing a helmet, not wearing a seatbelt, using a mobile phone while driving, etc.) and parking offences (on the pavement, double-parked, on roundabouts, outside marked parking spaces, etc.).
Video tagging is active throughout the commune. It helps to prevent, deter and protect residents. They can also be used to punish illegal dumping.

On a daily basis, this system enables the police to solve various cases.
