The census starts today.
The population census is a mandatory statistical survey. It is used to find out how many people live in France and to determine the official population of our Commune. The results are used to calculate the State's contribution to the municipal budget.
The data collected is also used to understand demographic change of our region. They enable tailor public action to the needs of the population including community facilities (schools, retirement homes, etc.), neighbourhood regeneration programmes and transport provision.
Your participation is essential. The population census is a simple and useful civic duty for everyone.
