Every year, the last Sunday in April is dedicated to the memory of those who were deported to Nazi concentration and extermination camps, victims of the barbarity of the Nazi regime during the Second World War.
Fabrice Solans, Mayor of Villeneuve-lรจs-Bรฉziers, and his Municipal Council invite you to take part in this commemorative ceremony, a moment of meditation and remembrance.
This moment of remembrance is also a call to vigilance: the deportations, their tragedies and suffering, remind us how essential it is to defend, without respite, the values of humanity, peace and freedom.
Never forget.
Because remembrance is a bulwark against indifference, forgetting and the denial of our values.
