Ladies and knights, prepare to travel back in time!

It's time to delve into our town's glorious past during the Heritage Days!

𝗗𝘂 𝟮𝟬 𝗮𝘂 𝟮𝟮 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲, Villeneuve-lès-Béziers invites you to enjoy an exceptional medieval experience during the Journées du Heritage!

𝗔𝘂 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 :

𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶 𝟮𝟬 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲 𝗮̀ 𝟭𝟴𝗵𝟯𝟬 :

Opening of the "Patrimoine de Villeneuve-lès-Béziers" exhibition in the former chapel of the Hôpital. A great opportunity to discover the treasures of our history.

𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶 𝟮𝟭 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲 :

𝟵𝗵𝟬𝟬: Guided tour by André Fratangello (departure from Place Michel Solans) to discover the medieval and modern remains of the seigniorial town.

𝟭𝟬𝗵𝟬𝟬 - 𝟭𝟴𝗵𝟬𝟬 : Medieval camp and entertainment at the Salle des fêtes and in the grounds of the Espace des Libertés Gérard Saumade with the Maisnie des Loups de l'Arn and Meles Christi :

Sword fights, archers, fencing workshops, blacksmith demonstrations, storytelling and craftsmen (potters, jewellers). And there'll be plenty of beer!

Not to be missed:

𝟮𝟬𝗵𝟬𝟬 : Medieval banquet in the grounds of the village hall. Come dressed in period costume and feast with us!

Mouth-opening fruit

Pasté with herb crust

Pork, lentils and chickpeas in a loaf

𝟭𝟬𝗵𝟬𝟬 - 𝟭𝟳𝗵𝟬𝟬: Last day of medieval festivities with entertainment, tournaments and storytelling around the camp in the grounds of the Salle des Fêtes.
