Applications are received all year round at the Mairie Hôtel de Ville, 1 rue de la Marianne, 34420 Villeneuve-Lès-Béziers.
Prerequisites
- French nationality or nationality of a member state of the European Community
- Be aged 18 (or turn 18 before 1 March of the following year)
- You must not have been stripped of your civic and political rights
Documents to be provided
Voters of French nationality must present the following documents:
- A valid National Identity Card or Passport, or a passport whose validity has expired in the year preceding the submission of the application for registration.
- National Identity Card or Passport expired more than one year ago, accompanied by a certificate of nationality
- All other identity documents bearing a photograph in accordance with article 1 of the decree of 19/12/2007, accompanied by a certificate of nationality or naturalisation decree.
- Proof of address (electricity or water bill, etc.) less than 3 months old.
European Union nationals
European Union nationals must produce :
- A valid national identity card or passport, or a passport whose validity has expired in the year preceding the submission of the application, issued by the competent authorities of the State of which the holder is a national.
- A valid residence permit or one that has expired in the year preceding the application.
- Proof of address (EDF or water bill....) less than 3 months old.
Postal registration
The following documents are required:
- Electoral roll registration form (available on the "service-public.fr" website)
- Photocopy of both sides of CURRENT ID document
- Proof of domicile or residence in the municipality less than 3 months old or proof of registration in the local tax roll for more than 5 years.
Change of address in the municipality
Changes of address in the commune are received throughout the year at the Hôtel de Ville, 1 rue de la Marianne, 34420 Villeneuve-Lès-Béziers.
Documents to be provided:
- Proof of less than 3 months' residence in the town (rent, water, gas or electricity bill)
- An identity document (valid identity card or passport or residence permit for EU nationals)
Consultation of electoral rolls
The lists can be consulted at the Town Hall by any elector who :
- present their electoral card in a commune on French territory
- undertakes not to use it for commercial purposes
A copy may be issued on payment of the current tariff.
